Again this year, the Centerville Parks and Recreation Committee is sponsoring a logo art contest to design the 2022 Fete des Lacs logo.
Cash Prizes for grades K-5: (1) 1st Place of $100, (1) 2nd Place of $50, (1) Honorable Mention of $25.
Cash Prizes for grades 6-8: (1) 1st Place of $100, (1) 2nd Place of $50, (1) Honorable Mention of $25.
This is a real opportunity to show off your artistic talents and receive a cash award. The winning logo(s) will be used to promote Fete des Lacs and featured on the Festival’s annual 5K/8K run t-shirts, on posters, flyers, and newspaper articles.

The logo design should feature images representative of Centerville and/or the festival theme. This year the Fete des Lacs theme is “Centerville Strong” which can be interpreted in a variety of ways. We ask that the designs…
Incorporate the following:
- “Fete des Lacs 2022” (required)
- “Centerville Strong” theme
- Our Native American and/or French heritage
- Two lakes (Peltier Lake and Centerville Lake)
- Diversity of the many Fete des Lacs events (i.e. Run des Lacs 8K/5K, Paddle des Lacs, KidsFest, Parade, Fireworks, Ski Show, and more)
aBOUT THE FESTIVAL
Now in its 31st year, Fete des Lacs or the “Festival of Lakes”, is a week-long community festival in Centerville, MN. This event honors our history and takes advantage of the beautiful parks, lakes, and trails that surround us. Fete des Lacs includes a parade, fireworks, 5K and 8K run or walk, a canoe / kayak race on Centerville Lake, music in the parks, Bald Eagle Waterski Show, KidsFest, softball, kickball and bags tournaments, and many more family-friendly events in Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park and our community.
